Educational Programs for Chicagoland


The Chicago Wolves are proud to enter the 20th season of their Read to Succeed program in libraries. Presented by Butternut Bread and J.U.L.I.E. Inc., more than 500,000 children and 105 libraries in the Chicago area have participated in the program. The goal for every young participant is to spend more time in libraries and see the valuable resources they have to offer, as well as understand the benefits of reading as a recreational tool.

During the season, French-speaking Wolves players visit local high school French classes. The students prepare questions for the players and address them in French giving students the opportunity to both listen and speak with a native French speaker. Teachers help coordinate the curriculum with the team.
