Archibald Sent to Kalamazoo

The Vancouver Canucks have reassigned left wing Darren Archibald from the Chicago Wolves to the ECHL’s Kalamazoo Wings.

ARCHIBALD skated in two games with the Wolves after being reassigned from Kalamazoo on Feb. 26. He skated in 20 games with Chicago this year, notching one goal and 6 penalty minutes. He also has posted 21 assists and 30 points in 36 games with Kalamazoo during his professional debut this season.

The 22-year-old forward split last season between the Ontario Hockey League’s Barrie Colts and Niagara IceDogs. He recorded 30 points (18G, 12A) in 24 matchups with Barrie and 36 points (23G, 13A) in 37 contests with Niagara. Overall, the Newmarket, Ontario, native amassed 82 goals, 82 assists and 164 points in 186 career OHL games spanning three seasons (2008-11).
