THE FINAL COUNTDOWN

The Wolves enter the final week of the regular-season in sixth place in the West Division with 86 points (38-29-4-6), two points behind fourth-place Peoria and one point behind fifth-place Oklahoma City; Chicago sits one point ahead of seventh-place San Antonio, which holds one game in hand.

--- Jared Ross: Shared the team lead with four points (G, 3A) in three games last week, which includes matching a season-best three points (G, 2A) on Thursday in his return to the lineup after missing the previous nine games ... Ranks third on the Wolves and 14th in the league with 40 assists - which matches a career-high - and holds third on the team with 55 points in 63 games this season

--- Darren Haydar: Became the 41st player in AHL history to score 250 career goals on Saturday ... Paces the Wolves and shares third in the AHL with 71 points in 74 games this season ... Paces Chicago and is tied for 15th in the league with 26 goals and holds second on the team and shares fifth in the AHL with 45 assists ... Collected 16 points (4G, 12A) in his last 15 outings, despite being held scoreless in five of those tilts

--- Spencer Machacek: Tallied his 10th multiple-point outing of the season on Thursday (G, A) ... Ranks fourth on the team with a career-high 51 points (20G, 31A) in 64 games this season ... Holds third on Chicago with 20 goals and second with a +17 plus/minus rating ... Is the first player in Wolves history to top the 20-goal plateau in each of his first three pro seasons

--- Jason Krog: Collected his 240th career assist as a member of the Wolves on Saturday to move into third place on Chicago’s all-time assist list ... Ranks second on the Wolves and fifth in the AHL with 70 points in 77 outings this season ... Paces the team and holds third in the AHL with 52 assists and shares fourth on the club with 18 goals ... Tallied 15 points (4G, 11A) in his last 15 games, despite being held scoreless in six of them

--- Chicago has been held to two or fewer goals in five of its last six outings, which includes each of the last two contests; the Wolves have earned a 5-23-1-1 mark when scoring two or fewer goals in a game this season compared to a 33-6-3-5 record when they light the lamp three or more times in a game.

--- Center Andre Deveaux has bagged three power-play goals in his last three games after scoring three man-advantage markers in his previous 21 outings; the 27-year-old forward paces the Wolves and shares second in the AHL with 14 power-play strikes overall this season.

--- Chicago has opened scoring just once in its last eight games and has bagged the game’s first goal only four times in the 15 games since March 1; the Wolves have registered a 19-6-1-4 mark when scoring first this season.

--- The Wolves rallied from a 2-0 deficit to force overtime but fell 3-2 in the extra session to the Texas Stars at Cedar Park Center
--- Defenseman Jaime Sifers and center Andre Deveaux dented the net for Chicago
--- Goaltender Peter Mannino kicked out 21 shots in regulation and overtime

--- The Wolves took an early lead and never looked back on the way to a 5-3 win over the Houston Aeros at the Toyota Center
