Beginning with tonight’s contest at Texas, the Wolves will play four games in six days for the first time this season; Chicago will play just its second three-in-three set this weekend when it travels to Milwaukee on Friday before hosting the Admirals on Saturday and Rockford on Sunday.

--- Matt Climie: Set a franchise record with his fourth road shutout of the season on Friday, a 33-save performance against Texas ... Started 10 straight games since returning from injury on Feb. 8 after a six-game absence ... Registered a 1.87 goals-against average, .943 save percentage, and three shutouts in his last 10 tilts but has earned just a 5-4-1 record during that span ... Ranks third in the AHL with a .923 save percentage and shares fifth in the league with a 2.30 goals-against average in 33 games (15-15-2) during the 2012-13 campaign ... Has already surpassed the number of games and minutes played from last season

--- Andrew Ebbett: Potted the Wolves lone goal on Saturday to extend his point streak to seven games ... He has tallied 6 assists and 9 points during his current point streak which dates back to Dec. 30 ... Ranks third on the Wolves with 17 helpers and 26 points in 33 games this season ... ... Has averaged 1.06 points per game over his last 16 games with Chicago ... Skated in five games with the Canucks this year

--- Darren Haydar: Saw his three-game point streak snapped on Friday, but accrued an assist on Saturday ... Paces the Wolves with 17 goals, 24 assists, 41 points, and a +13 plus/minus rating in 47 games this season ... Amassed 13 goals and 27 points in 23 tilts since the start of 2013, which includes 8 markers and 14 points in his last 11 outings despite being held scoreless in four of those contests

--- Bill Sweatt: Dished out an assist in back-to-back games last week, which marked the first time he tallied points in consecutive games since Dec. 8 and 13 ... Holds fourth on Chicago with 11 goals and sixth with 22 points in 44 contests this season ... Posted 4 assists and 5 points in his last five games

--- The Wolves have posted a 13-6-1-1 record in 21 games since losing players to the end of the NHL lockout on Jan. 6 to move into a tie for seventh place in the Western Conference playoff standings; Chicago sits in second place in the Midwest Division with 61 points in 52 tilts (27-18-4-3); the team’s 52 games are the fewest-played in the AHL and it holds at least two games in hand on all of the other 14 teams in the Western Conference and at least four games on 7 of them.

--- The Wolves and Stars both were not awarded a power-play opportunity in their tilt on March 1; it marked the first time in Chicago’s AHL history that it didn’t earn at least one man-advantage chance; the last time the Wolves failed to generate a power-play chance came on Feb. 16, 2001, when it was still a member of the IHL.

--- After averaging 3.20 goals per game during the month of February, Chicago has scored just three goals in its first two tilts in March; the Wolves have registered a 8-13-3-0 mark when scoring two or fewer goals this year.

--- Beginning with its game against Milwaukee on Friday, Chicago will battle Midwest Division foes in six straight contests; the Wolves have accrued an 11-12-3-2 mark within the Midwest Division this season.

--- For the 17th straight season, the Wolves will wear special St. Patrick’s Day jerseys, presented by Jewel-Osco, at home games on Saturday, March 9; Sunday, March 10; and Sunday, March 17. Fans can bid on the green jerseys worn by their favorite players in a silent auction, with the exception of five; four of which will be available in a raffle and the other through a blind auction. Proceeds will benefit Easter Seals and Chicago Wolves Charities. For more information, call 1-800-THE-WOLVES.
