In conjunction with National Children’s Dental Health Month in February, Delta Dental of Illinois and the Chicago Wolves are teaming up to help protect kids’ teeth from sports-related injuries by giving away youth mouth guards to the first 5,000 fans at the game against the Peoria Rivermen at Allstate Arena on Feb. 2.
PEORIA, IL---The Chicago Wolves concluded the first half of the 2012-13 American Hockey League season with a 2-0 loss to Peoria Wednesday morning at Carver Arena.
Chicago has posted a 5-2-0-1 mark since the calendar turned to 2013 and has moved into seventh place in the Western Conference playoff standings with 43 points through 37 games this year (19-13-3-2); the Wolves 37 games are the fewest games played in the conference and they hold at least two games in hand on 12 of the other 14 teams.
The Chicago Wolves are honoring all veterans and active-duty personnel with complimentary tickets to the team’s Military Appreciation home games on Jan. 16, 18, and 19. The Wolves will wear commemorative Military Appreciation Jerseys that will be auctioned and raffled to raise money for military-related charities as well as Chicago Wolves Charities.
